White to Half Black Basics
Advance your martial arts training and curriculum with our White to Half Black basics
For the past 25 years I've been studying various Korean martial arts such as Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido.
In this syllabus, I've taken the most common kicks, hand strikes, and blocks, from basic to advanced, and combined them to create a complete system that takes a progressive approach to learning and teaching these combinations.
Syllabus Structure And Order
The TKD Master White To Half Black Basics program is comprised of 9 belt rank colors. I break down the 9 levels into 3 groups with White, Orange, Yellow being the Beginner Level. Next is Green, Purple, Blue being the Intermediate Level, and lastly, Brown, Red, and Half Black being Advanced Level.
White- (Typically awarded to a new student once they join your program)
Orange
Yellow
Green
Purple
Blue
Brown
Red
Half Black- Half Black can either be a Red belt with a black stripe through it, or a half red, half black belt.
Now, you can use any colors you want. Your style, syllabus, or belt order may differ than mine. Also, you may want to consider the age group you want to teach this syllabus to. I personally start teaching these techniques to students ages 10 and up. And I only teach this curriculum to my Black Belt Club students.
Choose who and what you want to teach according to your comfort level. If you're a student of the martial arts, I highly recommend learning this syllabus in the order presented unless you're already black belt level. Even then, it is highly recommended to start from the beginning!

My name is Jon Lee Elliott, and I'm passionate about Tae Kwon Do and all martial art styles.
I've been a student of the martial arts for over 28 years now, and am now a full time studio owner. I started my martial art journey under the tutelage of my father, Tim Elliott, who has been teaching for over 38 years now.
I create courses and curriculum for anyone who teaches/practices Tae Kwon Do or any stand up striking style. My mission is to take the knowledge passed on to me by my father and mentors, document it, and share it with other martial artists.
To your successful martial arts journey,
Jon Lee Elliott
